AIPS 2026


On May 22, 2026, the 3rd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Power Systems (AIPS 2026) was successfully held online. The conference was hosted by Quzhou University, organized by the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of Quzhou University, and co-organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University. More than 100 experts, scholars, researchers, and industry professionals from universities and research institutions both domestically and internationally gathered online to explore cutting-edge research and technological breakthroughs in the fields of artificial intelligence and power systems.


The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. Zhixin Wang, Conference Chair and Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.


Three high-level keynote speeches were delivered. Prof. Qianzhi Zhang from Zhejiang University presented on "Cybersecurity of the Future Grid: From Coordinated Substations Attacks to Resilient Microgrid Control," discussing resilience enhancement technologies for cyber-physical systems under extreme events. Prof. Zhixin Wang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University delivered a speech on "Electricity Computing Collaboration: Power Configuration, Load Modeling and Forecasting, Power Dispatching for Data Center," providing an in-depth analysis of power resource allocation and dispatch optimization in data centers. Prof. Lei Yu from Quzhou University presented on "Human Action Recognition Method of Infrared Video," showcasing the latest advances in artificial intelligence for computer vision.


The oral presentation session was equally impressive. Liang Tang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University shared an industrial virtual power plant cooperative optimal scheduling method for green alumina production. Lingyu Yin from the Laser Fusion Research Center, China Academy of Engineering Physics, introduced a bilevel DRL-BO framework for intelligent scheduling in opto-mechatronic manufacturing. Wei Zhang from Shandong University presented a fast probabilistic power flow calculation method via physics-informed neural networks. Juan Wang from the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute conducted an in-depth analysis on the effects of energy storage resource re-allocation and parameter adjustment on frequency nadir in power systems with renewables.


Through keynote speeches and oral presentations, the conference facilitated high-level academic exchanges and intellectual dialogue on frontier theories, key technologies, and engineering practices in the fields of artificial intelligence and power systems. The successful holding of the conference established a high-quality international communication platform for scholars worldwide, effectively promoting the integration of theoretical breakthroughs and technological implementation in the field.


All accepted papers will be published in IET Conference Proceedings and submitted for indexing in IEEE Xplore, EI, Scopus, Inspec, and other major databases. We look forward to the continued success of the AIPS conference series and to meeting again next year in Wenzhou to explore new frontiers in artificial intelligence and power systems!
