Prof. Om P. Malik IEEE Life Fellow, Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering University of Calgary, Canada Dr. Malik graduated in electrical engineering in 1952 and obtained a Master’s degree in electrical machine design in 1962. He received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of London and a D.I.C. from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London in 1965. Dr. Malik worked in electric utilities in India from 1952 to 1961 and spent one year, 1959-60, as a Confederation of British Industries Senior Scholar with manufacturing companies in the U.K. He taught at the University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada, from 1966-68 and joined the University of Calgary, Alberta, Canada, in 1968. He was acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in 1981, Associate dean (Academic) from July 1979 to December 1990, and Associate Dean (Student Affairs) from July 1995 to December 1998. At present he is Professor Emeritus, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Calgary. Dr. Malik is a Life Fellow of IEEE, a Fellow of Can. Academy of Eng., IET, EIC, Engineers Canada and World Innovation Foundation. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the Provinces of Alberta and Ontario. Among other awards, he has received the APEGGA Heritage Foundation Research Excellence Award, APEGGA Volunteer Service Award, IEEE Canada General A.G.L. McNaughton Medal, IEEE Western Canada Council Merit Award, IEEE Centennial Medal, IEEE Millennium Medal, IEEE PES Electric Machinery Committee and Technical Council Distinguished Service Awards, Eng. Inst. of Canada CPR Engineering Medal, Faculty of Eng. Univ. of Calgary Distinguished Lifetime Leadership Award, Dept. of Elec. and Comp. Eng. Research Excellence Award, and been admitted to the Order of the University of Calgary. He is past-chair of the IEEE PES Electric Machinery Committee, 2011-2012 Chair of the IEEE PES Energy Development and Power Generation Committee and is also a member of the IEEE PES Technical Council. He was a member of the IEEE MGA Board and IEEE Board of Directors as Director, IEEE Region 7 (Canada), President IEEE (Canada) for 2010-2011 and President, Engineering Institute of Canada for 2014-2016. | |
Prof. Qiang Yang SMIEEE、FBCS、FIAAM Zhejiang University, China Qiang Yang (M’03-SM’18) received Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from Queen Mary, University of London, London, U.K., in 2007 and worked in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London, U.K., from 2007 to 2010. He visited the University of British Columbia and the University of Victoria Canada as a visiting scholar in 2015 and 2016. He is currently a full Professor at the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China, and has published more than 300 technical papers, filed 60 national patents, co-authored 2 books, and edited 2 books and several book chapters. His research interests over the years include smart energy systems, large-scale complex network modeling, control and optimization, learning based optimization and control. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society (BCS) and International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), a Senior Member of IEEE, IET and the Senior Member of China Computer Federation (CCF). | |
Prof. Erchao Li Lanzhou University of Technology, China Erchao Li, Doctor of Engineering, professor of Lanzhou University of Technology, doctoral supervisor, leading talent of Gansu Province (the first level), Gansu Province flying scholars. In December 2005, he graduated from Yanshan University, majoring in control Science and engineering. In December 2011, he graduated from Lanzhou University of Technology, majoring in control science and Engineering. Since July 2006, he has been engaged in teaching and scientific research in the Department of Automation, School of Telecommunication, Lanzhou University of Technology. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in more than 20 National Natural Fund and provincial and ministerial projects, and his research achievements have won 1 first prize at the provincial and ministerial level, 2 third prizes, and many awards at the bureau level. He has published more than 100 scientific research and teaching papers (more than 50 included in SCI and EI). Co-edited 1 electronic information professional textbook and published 2 monographs. A number of domestic and foreign journal reviewers. Member of China Machine Learning Committee, member of China Institute of Electronics National College Electronic Information Discipline Construction Committee. His research interests include intelligent optimization theory, method and application. Intelligent robot environment perception, modeling and control; Integrated energy system modeling and operational optimization. |

She is currently a Bairen Researcher in the College of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. Her research interests include ML security, AI in networking, and mobile sensing. Yanjiao has published papers in ACM CCS, IEEE INFOCOM, ICDCS, etc. Yanjiao has served on the editorial board of IEEE WCL and served as TPC member in IEEE INFOCOM, NDSS, ICNP, etc. | |
Assoc. Prof. Muhammad Junaid SMIEEE China University of Mining and Technology, China Muhammad Junaid received his Ph.D. (2020), M.S. (2015), and B.Eng. (2011) in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power system engineering. Since late 2020, he has been serving as an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou, China. Previously, he was a Research Fellow at King's College Aberdeen, University of Aberdeen, in Scotland, and a Lecturer in Power Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering, SARHAD University of Science & Information Technology, in Pakistan. |

Prof. Farhan Ullah Northwestern Polytechnical University, China FARHAN ULLAH is an Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. In 2020, he received a Doctor of Engineering in Computer Science (PhD) degree from the College of Computer Science at Sichuan University Chengdu, China. He received a full-time Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) for his Ph.D. studies. He was a special issue Lead Guest Editor for the Computers, Materials, and Continua and Security and Communication Network Journals. He is a member of the editorial board of the KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Systems Journal. In 2016, he earned the Research Productivity Award (RPA) from the COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) in Sahiwal, Pakistan. He was invited as a reviewer for several SCIE international journals, including IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Computers & Security, Computers and Electrical Engineering, and others.
